AMR Meter Replacement Project

Southside Water Works and Sewer Board is pleased to announce an upcoming water meter replacement project designed to modernize the utility’s metering system and improve the efficiency and accuracy of water service throughout the community.
As part of this project, existing water meters will be replaced with new Automated Meter Reading (AMR) meters. AMR technology allows water meter readings to be collected electronically, reducing the need for manual meter reading and providing the utility with a more efficient and reliable method of collecting water usage information.
The new meters will help Southside Water Works and Sewer Board improve operational efficiency, maintain accurate billing information, and better serve customers for years to come.
